California Voters Blew It

It appears that after almost 90% of the votes are in, all of the important California Propositions are going down.

What I see is that California voters are totally uniformed.

How can you possibly think it's a good idea that a child should be able to get an abortion without notifying her parents?

Prop 73, is losing 48% to 52%

Prop 74, that would increase the amount of time a teacher would have to prove that they are competent before getting tenure, is losing 45.5% to 54.5%

I still don't get it. Ensuring people a job for life sounds like a socialist idea to me.

Let me note, my sister is a teacher, and a damn good one. She has a Masters in Education, she's Nationally certified, teaching is her passion.

If they took away her tenure altogether, I would not loose a minutes worth of sleep over her loosing her job.

If workers, (anyone that collects a paycheck to do a job) don't feel like they have to do their best to keep their job, where is the sense of urgency? It is human nature to give the minimum effort, so California just voted for mediocrity from their teachers.

Nice job!

Voters also thought it was a good idea to let Unions use members money to force their political agenda, even if the member does not agree with it. Whatever, I didn't have much passion about this one.

75 went down, 47% to 53%

76 and 77 were the important ones.

76 would put a limit on spending.

It would actually require the California Educational System to start being financially responsible.

Like for instance, I just heard about San Jaun Capistrano parents getting pretty upset.

They are going to recall the entire school board!

After years of crying broke, the board unanimously approved building a $35 million dollar administration building.

I bet you these people were smart enough to vote yes on 76.

But 61.5% of this state was foolish enough to vote no on 76.

And lastly, 77.

What the hell happened here?

Both Republicans and Democrats drew up the districts, they divided it up to ensure themselves jobs.

Here is the only fact you should have paid attention to...

No Incumbant Was Defeated In The Last Election!

We need redistricting to take the power away from the politicians.

Arnold tried to give us that, and Californian's were to stupid to know it.

77 went down 40% to 60%.

The other 3 went down as well, so at least California got 3 of them right.

What Californian's just voted for was higher taxes, and I think they are too ignorant to even know it.
