On A Serious Note
If you have not gone to see United 93, quit f***ing around and go!
There are a few good reasons to see this movie.
I just saw it last night.
I thought, 'Oh, wow, I don't think I want to see it, it may be weird, it may make me sad, it may be uncomfortable.'
Are you feeling the same?
Well get the hell over it!
I don't go to many movies, I'm a Netflix kinda guy, but this was more than worth it.
I don't even know where to start with my opinion on the movie.
I guess I'd start with the fact that I left the movie speechless.
Did I like it?
No, I hated it.
I hated watching planes crash into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.
I hated watching United 93 crash.
But I loved NOT seeing United 93 crash into the White House.
I loved seeing Americans take a stand against terrorism, and take United 93 down before it could hit it's target.
But I still hated watching the movie.
However, this was a very well done movie, and should not be missed.
It is not too soon, it is perfectly timed.
As so many Americans have forgotten what happened on September 11th, it is time to get back in touch with the heinous acts of these terrorists.
As Americans seem to not have the stomach to fight a war on terror, all Americans should be required to see this.
Our enemies have the stomach to kill us without 'talking' to us, without 'getting to know us.'
They don't care!
We are Americans, and that is enough for them to hate us, and kill us.
I don't condone hate, I don't want to go out and hate all Muslims, and I don't want anyone else to hate all Muslims.
But as an American, whose homeland was attacked, I demand 'Good Muslims' distance themselves from these murderous villains, or they should be considered part of the problem.
If Good Muslims wish to be part of the United States, it is time to speak up.
Speak out against the killing!
If you can't speak out and be proud of the life that the US has afforded you, go home.
If you hate us, leave.
If you can't stand the way we do things, get out.
That is part of our freedom, if you don't like something, you are free to leave...
Let me leave this long post with this...
Go see United 93, 10% of the profit will go to the victims funds.
If you don't, you should be ashamed of yourself.

What bothered me is to read about this movie. Articles had headlines like Is It Too Soon? Is Hollywood Exlpoiting 9/11?
That's not at all what this movie is about.
Is it too soon for what? Too soon to remind a country that seems to have forgotten the horrors that these people perpetrated on The Uninted States?
I agree, go see the movie, it is a must see.
I just saw it this evening. People in the rather small audience actually started clapping, and me with them, when the passengers attacked the 1st hijacker. We looked a sad sort, leaving the theater in tears and shaking with rage alongside the folks leaving Mission Impossible 3. Everyone was enraged, and I was glad of it. It is never too soon. I was glad to see the images of the WTC up again. They belong everywhere!
One point too, they stopped the subtitles for the Arabic once the hijackers began praying, and I know very little Arabic. But my nemesis, the shahada, was right there on the big screen. For the audience members discussing after the film ended, I told them what was being said.
The 1st part of the shahada, "There is no god but allah", repeatedly. That was my only complaint with the movie. They should have kept up the subtitles when the bastards were praying. Everyone knows "Allahu Akbar", but less know the rest, which was also chanted repeatedly at the NYC protests of the "Islamic Thinkers Society". They chanted it in full, "There is no god but allah and mohammad (damnation be upon him) is his prophet".
I left the movie in such a state that I could have ripped every Muslim alive to shreds and the kaaba as well, with my bare hands. And I am very small, but I swear in my wrath I could have done it. That wrath is good. We should NEVER forget that wrath.
One line of attack on Islam which doesn't seem to have been followed up in the blogosphere concerns the existence of Allah. Some atheists have tried to prove that Allah doesn't exist, but it may be far more damaging to Islam to demonstrate that Allah does indeed exist and to show where 'he' resides and what 'he' is.
Christians and Jews believe that G_d is transcendent and omnipresent, she is not located in any particular place and indeed both transcends and permeates the physical structure of the universe.
In total contrast, Muslims are obsessively concerned with directing their prayers towards one particular location on planet earth, and line up their prayer mats and build their mosques pointing within a fraction of a degree towards Mecca. Muslim astronauts get particularly confused when in orbit because their god resides on earth - the majesty of the cosmos is lost on them. They believe that if you don't aim your prayers accurately at Mecca they won't have any effect. Very strange!
So we must conclude that Allah lives somewhere in Mecca. The entire city, including hotels, car parks, public lavatories, electricity substations etc cannot be equally and universally holy. So what is the object of this idolatrous worship?
The structure that every Muslim bows down to five times a day is Allah's house - the Kaaba.
And yes, inside it you will find Allah himself, who does indeed exist, and is none other than - a meteorite!
Allah is a chunk of space junk.
