SYRIA - ACCOUNTABILITY AND THE MIDDLE EAST
Even though I think this is mainly for public
consumption, the screws are definitely tightening
on the dictators in the Middle East.
Just getting this much could be one more positive
step forward in a long process whereby there may
be no turning back.
As much as I am not a fan of GWB (or Kerry
for that matter) and I flip flopped every other
day pre-Iraq invasion (are we taking our eye
off the ball), George W. had the balls and/or
naivete to continue the process with Iraq.
If the seeds of democracy are successful in
the Middle East (I feel this can really only be
accurately assessed 10-20 years from now),
GW deserves his fair share of the credit.

Iraq
High Risk = High Reward (or Major Disaster)
All the more reason Iraq MUST be a success.
It's way past time to give Rumsfeld the boot!
