Obama's A Lush?

I've seen in a few places that Obama's medical report raised some eyebrows.  Specifically in the Recommendations section.

Recommendations

Continue smoking cessation efforts, a daily exercise program, healthy diet, moderation in alcohol intake, periodic dental care, and remain up-to-date with recommended immunizations.

Moderation in alcohol intake?

Yes, some bloggers have suggested that this must mean Obama is a lush.  He is the guy that held a beer summit, so who knows?  If he is being told to moderate his drinking, he must be a lush, right?

I was kind of hoping this was true, it would explain his 2nd Vegas gaff, among other things.  But I don't want to read too much into this.  

Let me be the voice of reason here.  

If this were suggesting he drank too much we would also have to assert that he doesn't exercise enough, eats like crap, doesn't take care of his teeth, and skips recommended immunizations.  

Does anyone actually believe that to be true?

These were suggestions to continue doing as if he were already doing them, nothing more.

Jeez, with the weight of the country on your back, wouldn't you want a drink and smoke at the end of the day?  I would!

If those of us that don't like Obama's policies keep harping on stupid stuff like this, we look like fools.  

Remember how dumb we all thought the people were that bashed Bush for every little thing?

Let's not be like them, there is plenty to dislike about Obama's policies without getting personal, or misrepresenting facts.  Look how well it worked for the Republicans when they went after Clinton for the Monica thing.  It didn't go well, it looked more like a witch hunt.  The Republican's reputation and The Contract With America was never the same after that.  Especially when Republican's starting getting caught having affairs, (Newt Gingrich).

Let's not repeat history here.  If we do, every Republican that drinks would be open to the same criticism.

Although, I would love to kick it with Barry and have a cocktail and a cigar, (I'm sure after a few drinks I'd be calling him Barry).  Maybe then I could talk some sense into him.

Yeah who am I kidding, as a devout liberal, he'd never listen to sense...
